SS15 Hair Trends From New York Fashion Week
As official hair care sponsors of New York Fashion Week, TRESemmé brings you all
the hair trends, fresh from the catwalk, with brilliant backstage tips too.
SS15 saw contrasting key trends competing for attention—loose waves for effortless spring style, and practical braids and buns for when the temperature rises. Keeping these styles in check and free of frizz was the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Collection—perfect for helping
to control frizz and fight humidity, whatever your look of choice.
On The Catwalk
At Clover Canyon (pictured right), TRESemmé stylists
gave models practical double knots and wet fringes
for a ‘jungle trekking’ look, as inspired by the
collection's Asian shapes and bright floral prints.

At Misha Nonoo, cascading 90's waves with amazing shine mirrored
the shimmering, flowing fabrics at this colorful glass sculpture-
inspired show. We loved the sleek yet effortless effect of this easy-
to-wear style.
Pompadour and five-strand braids were the look of the day at
Marissa Webb (pictured right), where models' hair was given a
textured, disheveled finish. These undone styles went perfectly
with this downtown-chic-with-a-tailored-twist collection. And while
the style looks complicated, it's surprisingly simple to achieve.
Maximum impact for just a little extra effort: what's not to love?

At Prabal Gurung, racer-backs met traditional Nepalese dresses at the
designer's spring show, with low ‘active ponytails’ completing the
sporty twist. Sleek from the scalp with natural shape and texture
through the lengths, the overall effect was polished yet relaxed, and
utterly modern.
