70's waves got a modern makeover for Mara Hoffman's AW16 show at New York Fashion
Week. TRESemmé lead stylist Tyler Laswell created soft, voluminous 70's waves, ensuring
models worked the runway wearing touchable retro locks without any hint of old-school

This glamorous collection, inspired by 70's icons, had all the hallmarks of the decade –
including psychedelic-style prints in browns and oranges, crushed velvet, voluminous pant
suits and daring deep V-necklines.

hold its own. Big, statement waves were the perfect choice, and 70’s style floppy hats and
bright eye make-up completed a head-turning look on the catwalk.
